Went to Brunei on the first day of June since it was Gawai holiday. It only requires 1 or 2 hour to get there by car. The citizens are mostly Malay and everyone in the town have to go to the mosque on Friday afternoon. So, the whole town is damn quiet at that time cos everyone has closed their shops. Our main goal was to find out the sushi there as everyone is saying the sushi is cheap and fabulous. There was a long queue when we reached the shop. We only managed to find a seat after about 1 hour. The sushi look nice and taste good too especially the raw salmon. It was really fresh and i'm satisfied.
Tried to sketch something and found one that i would really like to give it a try. It was hard and i kept erasing it until i get the right one. When the mouth or nose is not in the right position it will actually come out damn weird. So, persistence and patience are much needed.
Found some recipes online and wanted to bake something i crave for so long. What to do if you can't find them in your town? Make one for yourself! So then i made blueberry muffins. They came out really nice. I like the crispy top and the way the dough goes up. My parents and sis love it also. So i think this is what we called ' a sense of accomplishment'.
Next, everyone knows that i have fallen for matcha that's why i tried making matcha mille crepe. There are basically two main steps which is making the quiche and the cream lies between the quiche. Made twenty quiches and it requires patience too cos you have to fry them one by one. It was quite tiring. Then, you have to beat the whipping cream. The cream must be thick enough so that it won't collapse. I made that mistake so it actually collapsed twice. It made me nuts but after that i tried to put in more effort to make it work. Luckily it turns out okay but still not really nice. Put on some matcha powder on top then you are done! Now i know why it is so expensive cos it requires time and effort. Nothing is easy in this world. Haizz...
Recently, i have been doing the same things repeatedly. From drying the clothes, cooking lunch for sis, washing the dishes, watching drama, washing clothes to sleep. My mum is probably having a long holiday since i'm home. So it makes me jealous while seeing people have fun out there haha. But still feel happy that they are doing well now. Since there is nothing to talk about in my life, let's talk about the drama i have been watching!! Woohoo! ;p
1. Sensory couple
This is about a girl who has the ability to see the smell by her blue eye. This happened when she ran into the accident after being chased by the murderer who murder her parents in front of the girl. She lost her memory and her life had a brand new start. There are some chemistry occur between the two actors. For me the murderer act so well and the method he killed people is so fascinating and special. It is about the barcode that marked on the victim's hand. This is a cute love and mysterious story. I love it!
2. School 2015
This is a trending korean drama. The story is about a twins who exchange their life after the elder sis gone missing. The younger sis who has been bullied ended up getting into a love triangle in her sis's school. The actor, Nam Joo Hyuk is so charming. I love this drama because of the good chemistry between the actors. It doesn't only cover the love story but also family problems, school problems and many more. That's why i never get bored watching the drama. I love their OST which is the songs behind it. Unfortunately it only consists of 16 episodes. I love the ending. It is an awesome drama instead.
3. Hyde Jekyll and I
This drama is quite special. The actor is a psychopath with two personalities. One with cruel and bad personality while one with kind personality. It is a Schizophrenia symptom. It is a story about psychology thingy. It is so fascinating while watching them hypnotizing. The interesting part is when the two of the personality talking to themselves by recording the video and changing the personality repeatedly. In fact, they hate each other but the funny thing is that they can't kill each other because there is only one person which is him! I remember i red the story about Hyde and Jekyll in high school and it's really nice.
Not every korean drama is good. In fact, there are some dramas i gave up to watch after watching the first episode. But the three dramas above are my favourite. I recommend people to watch it cos they are just too nice! Mysterious and warming at the same time!!
With no friends around, life is dull and dark. That's why drama has became the center of my life. I don't feel like i'm prepared to start uni yet. It might be tough but i will do my best! The beginning is the hardest step so hopefully i can make it! :)
