New adventure with the new gang

Xin Jie wanted to go pasar malam in cheras that night as she is craving for apples very badly. I can say that IMU really got nothing around. You must take car to get to the places that got nicer foods and grocery. It took about 10mins to get there. The pasar malam is pretty long. There are lots of nice and special foods there. It looks like Taiwan yeshi to me. They got smelly tofu and Taiwanese foods like what i tried in Taiwan last time.

We tried a lot of foods there and it wasn't really bad. As UCSI university is just located around that area, i am jealous of those students who is studying there cos they got so many nice foods and even McD there. We have to order delivery if we wanna eat McD. It was so hard to find a taxi back. The most awkward thing we did that night was that we acted blur while the driver want to ask for more tips from us. We just said 'tak apa lah abang' and rushed back to the hostel. The driver looked quite serious but some of them thought that guy was just kidding. lol. And yea we all bought some fruits back...

Went to Fishee coffee on Friday cos there is no class. We decided to walk there cos it is very troublesome to grab taxi here and we got 7 people. I remembered Lisa pointed at the shoplots and told me there is a coffee shop called Fishee Coffee. Googled the shop and guessed the exact place of it. Luckily found it after walking for 15 mins. It wasn't that far and it's good to exercise.

The coffee shop is fulled and we waited for another half an hour outside. The first thing we do when we finally entered the shop was taking photos. Girls just being girls. But they seem very hyper. lol. Ordered one for each type of foods on the menu. The signature food is the fishee ball. It looks like a spider and it's a cream cheese cake. I shared a summer fruit tea with Angie. I love the drinks so much as it's so refreshing! The foods are all quite nice but it's a bit pricey.

Spent quite a long time there by taking selfies and stalking pretty people on insta together. We felt really awkward and left after about 2 hours. Then, we walked back home again. It's good to sweat it out!

The girls are all so girly and some of them do make up. I felt a bit pressure when i am with them cos i always dress like a boy. Should get some new dress to dress up more like a girl.

New life in IMU

It's been my second week here. Everything is fine.

I'm satisfied with the room and uni. The first day of uni was pretty nerve-wrecking i guess. But Lisa decided to bring me to the auditorium which is located at 4th floor. I was alone when Lisa left. It felt like my mother left me alone in the kindergarten. So i thought that was the time to meet some new friends.

After taking photo for my ID card, i met two new friends where one is chinese girl (Min Zi) while another one is an Indian girl(Vithya). They are both friendly. But we are separated while we were distributed to different orientation group. I was in Group 6. Met a lot of good friends and nice seniors in group 6. And our group name was Big hero 6 meaning that we as a pharmacy student are the hero to those patients. Both wet and dry games were fun. I enjoyed the orientation in those three days.

In group 6, i met Nicole and Wen Shi. I remembered i saw Nicole before in Taylor's college so i asked her whether we are from the same college. And yea we are! Nicole drive here everyday while Wen Shi stays at Vista B which is just beside my vista. That's why Wen Shi and me get closer. On the way home that day, i was in the lift with a girl. Because new students got one IMU bag, so then i know she is also a new student who is staying at the same block as me. We looked at each other awkwardly and she left while the lift reached 12th floor. I think that's call fate cos i met her again on the next day. Wen Shi introduced her to me. Her name is Angie Ooi. She is so kind and friendly. She brought us to her room and she even gave us the sample of her toner. Wen shi and Angie are both from Perak. Angie went to attend her cousin's wedding in Melacca the day before so she brought us a bag for key chain. I love it so much!

Met two bunch of friends also since we attend MPU class together. Nicole introduced us her friends. There is another girl from Taylor's college and her name is Shermyn. She is so tall and pretty and her height is almost 175cm. We look so tiny when we are standing beside her. Another bunch of friends are taking Nutrition with Dietetics course. I met Wanqing in group 6 before. She was sitting beside me while we had supper with seniors that night and i think we get along well. She is from Chinese private school and she is so pretty as well. She is like my long lost friend.

We created group in watsapp. Xin Jie and Lexie joined later too. There is one girl from Miri as well but unfortunately we took different course. Hopefully we can go bk Miri together. Four of them are from Johor and they are all from Chinese private school. Hanging out with them is fun. Since this month is purely mpu class, we decided to hang out more often before the course start next month.

31/07/15 Shine bright like a lightbulb

Felt so excited when i know Si Teng and Victor were coming to Miri. I wished to bring them around my hometown so i planned the places we can go before they came.

Si Teng was really busy with the orientation in her uni. We kept arranging time to meet up and finally we met on Wednesday night. Victor fetched us to the restaurants cos he rent a car there. Had dinner at Fish & Co. After that, we went to Canada Hill to enjoy the night view of Miri. It was really beautiful and romantic. The sky was full of stars and the moon is damn bright. The environment is great but there is no special one beside me. Such a pity. Lol. Since time was still early, we went to ShareTea and had some talk. Si Teng was worried about how she's gonna make friends and all that. But i know she should have no problems. She always got a bunch of guys follow after her. I should be the one who have to worry lol.

Went to Lambir which takes about 1 hour to get there by car. In fact, i didn't plan to go there but since they love outdoor activities i should join as well. We waited for half an hour before we get in as it was raining heavily. That was my first jungle trekking. Victor was surprised to know that. He thought Sarawakians should have known how to climb trees or at least went to the jungle, but no wayy. I never did that before though. The first experience was pretty cool and fun. The only thing that wasn't good is i hate being a lightbulb cos I am a typical LOL (lack of love) people. But it was still good to be with them cos they are super caring.

It was really tiring until we saw the waterfall. That was my first time seeing waterfall. Victor was half naked cos someone's suggested him to take the photo with waterfall half naked. I didn't notice at that moment though. So then, we went to the beach and i helped them taking some romantic photos with the sunset. Then, i visited Si Teng's hostel and waited for her to wash up. Talked to Victor about the career thingy. I think that was the only day we talked so much. He is actually quite nice and i am sure he will be a really successful engineer.

At last, we went to have dinner since Victor and I were going to KL on the another day.I felt like not joining the dinner at first and let them enjoy their night but Si Teng told me she was fine about that. We went to the restaurants on 17th floor. The foods are nice and the view was pretty as well.

Saying goodbye to them in the car when i reached home. Victor asked me to visit Si Teng when i was back in Miri and of course i will. Hope to see them soon. I had a lot of fun!
