Searching for a job is damn tiring :(
After coming back from KL in December last year, I was going to look for job but since i got my IELTS (English test) , my mum told me only go to work after the test. So i found a job which is a kindergarten teacher. The school is very near. I can just walk there. The worst thing is that the road heading to the kindergarten got many crazy dogs who bark at you fiercely. I am really scared of dogs because there was one time a dog ran towards me and chased after me. Omg :(
Went to the interview and yeah they hire me with RM800 salary. I do love playing around with children but one of the thing that a kindergarten teacher should do is that we have to go to the toilet with kids or maybe wipe their butt? Yuckss.. Feel like a mother already. The principal even asked me to fetch a kid from a primary school nearby. I was like maybe it's too much? I don't know. So i went back to discuss with parents and they said 'NO'??? They said they don't want me to do this job because i will only learn how to look after children and at the same time the principal asked me to do too many stuffs with such a little salary. That was what my parents told me. So i didn't go for that job.
After CNY, i decided to look for job again. This time is a supermarket called New World Mart. I wanted to work as a cashier because the environment is quite nice. So i filled the application form and they asked me to wait for their call. Guess what? My phone never ring! HAHA!!!
The boredom really can kill me. I will lie down on the sofa all day and refuse to do anything. Lazy butt !!haha.
Since there is no answer from the supermarket, my mum brought me to the place where there are many new shops because the chance to get offered job can be higher. We saw a vacancy notification at a bakery shop. Record the phone number down and moved on to a coffee shop. Didn't know there are coffee shops in Miri! so excited. Lol. So i went into the shop to ask whether there is any vacancy. The young lady called Wendy asked me to do interview and asked me so many questions. I think some questions are unnecessary like how many sibling i have? where they study? I was wondering who is going to work Lol. She told me many rules like no manicure, no long nails, no fingerprints on the wall and many more. I just nodded my head and agreed to what her said. I thought she was going to hire me but ended up saying she will call me if i am hired. I was so confused because if she didn't want to hire me, why she told me so many stuffs?Lol.
Waiting for her call the whole day but no answer again. I wanted to give up and try another shop but i got a call from her the next morning. She asked me to work from 3pm until 11pm. The shop closed at 11pm. Again the same thing happened. My parents don't let. They said i will be really tired because i can only go back at 12am because i have to clean up when the shop is closed. Imagine i have to go back at 12am and bath and sleep at 2am? So called Wendy and told her that i couldn't make it.
Decided to try another job which is a sales assistant at a bakery shop. I have used up my confidence. I am so scared that the boss don't want to hire me because i only can work until July as i am going to start uni in August. Went for the interview and finally i got a job. They will call me after few days for training because the new shop is only going to open next week. Thank you Lord for granting me courage. I wanted to give up actually but luckily i tried.
My parents always told me that working is never easy and it is not fun. I understand that but i want to try and get some experiences. It is better than lying down on sofa doing nothing and learn nothing right? Haha. Hopefully everything goes well in the next few months :)
